Within my practice, I am developing textile marquetry: a craft technique that combines upholstery and marquetry. Individually upholstered elements are assembled into decorative compositions that explore texture, colour and material through carefully crafted surfaces. Applications range from frames and architectural panels to furniture details and custom-made objects.
